If I wanted to hook a good recording microphone up to my PC, what would you recommend? I plan on mostly recording odd ramblings... I mean great thoughts for eventual pod casting.
The standard fare for PC mics isn't bad for the task, but I'd like to see what other options are out there. The Audigy 2 ZS that I use has MIDI and 1/4" jacks.

Most mics can be hooked to 1/4" it is just a cable switch that is involved. You can use most any decent mic like a Sure vocal mic etc. then get you a short mic stand or a small swinging boom stand link they use in radio stations. Make sure you also use a foam mic cover as well...Hope this helps...ROCK ON
