| Now that was rather interesting.
Ok, I couldn't help this. If religion were like the stock market:

| I have XM Radio, so I listen to a lot of O'Reiley. I like him. I don't always agree with him, but that's why I like him.
At any rate, notice Dawkins' arguments. His arguments are basically, "If you look at all of the bad things done in the name of religion" and, "Well, all of the dictators and evil men wre were really Christians", even though, as O'Reiley accurately pointed out, those madmen were not Christians (and hated Christians).
O'Reiley had a female atheist guest on his radio show a day prior to this interview with Dawkins, and she said the same line. O'Reiley pointed out that the worst atrocities in history were committed by atheists, and her response? "Well, Hitler and Stalin were Christians." O'Reiley pressed the fact that they were most certainly not Christians, and even persecuted them. She replied that ,"Well, they were raised in Chrsitian homes..."
O'Reiley said, "Madam, I don't care what they were raised as, I care about what they were when they were in power."
Folks, this is the line of though that we Christians are going to have to face. It doesn't really matter that the facts of history bear out that atrocities commited in the name of Christ are pale in comparison to what atheistic and hedonistic atrocities have been committed. To people like Dawkins and this lady atheist, if facts won't work, then fiction will.
Oh, and BTW, "Today, in the World Faith Market, church attendance up slightly after all-time low..." | "C'mon Dave, Gimme a break!"

| I think it's a mistake for either side to argue on Gods' existance , based on mans behaviour . Wasn't it Chesterton that said never judge a philosophy by it's abuse ? The point these people try to hide from , is that men like Stalin , Hitler etc are a logical outworking of atheism .
In other news , William Rauser has been elected president of the United States , guitar lessons will now be mandatory for every citizen .

True, the Bible never, ever argues to prove God's existence. It simply asserts that He does exist.
BTW, only metal guitar lessons would be mandatory in my administration. | "C'mon Dave, Gimme a break!"
