Looking for a different article at Lifehacker.com (a wonderful site for all sorts of stuff) I came across a reference to http://www.musictheory.net/

I haven't had a chance to look through it yet, but what makes it really cool is that you can download the site for use offline. How cool is that?

It might, but the site is not quite geared toward the guitar. But the info is really good...I might be able to make use of it.
